Great job at practice band! It has been a long, hard three weeks, but you made it. Im sorry I couldn’t be there for this last week of rehearsal, but I am sure it went well. We will be taking a break for awhile, but will return for practice in late July - more of that later. I hope everyone has an amazing summer, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE practice your music and look over your drill. It will make practices in July SO much easier. See you then! |

Try to work on your upper body strength during the summer, especially if you play a brass instrument. Lift some weights or do some pushups every day. You will be surprised how easy it is to hold your instrument when you get back. |

Exchange numbers with the people in your section so you can keep in touch over the summer. Make sure your captain has your number so they can fill you in on practice schedules and any special get togethers over the summer! |

Practices will resume July 28 and continue through August 1 . Practice will start at 9 AM. Please be there.
